It seems that with each day Cael is surprising us with the new stuff he has learned. He is pulling himself up on EVERYTHING and without much effort at this point. However, we learned our lesson with crawling and will just wait until the day that he takes his first step instead of setting ourselves up for disappointment by trying to push him into doing it sooner than he is ready. I think as a parent you worry that something is wrong if your kids don't do things exactly when they are supposed to. The milestones are meant to serve as a guide, not a be all, end all. He has a strong personality and will walk when he is ready. He has started showing a lot of interest in the stairs that lead down to the basement so Ryan took him over there to teach him how to crawl up them (as opposed to falling down). He scales them pretty quickly and then once at the top sits right at the edge trying to figure out how to get back down and start all over again.
