Bath time

Cael has been sitting up on his own for some time now and it makes bath time both easier and harder than it did when Mommy and Daddy were more in control. He LOVES getting a bath and will throw a fit if he sees the water and you don't put him in it immediately. This often times poses a problem as we usually start the bath and then remove his clothes and diaper as the water is filling up in the tub, which leads to a lot of screaming and crying until he comes with in sight of all of his toys. He is a little explorer and has hurt himself a couple of times (bumps on the head) in his conquest to climb the tile wall or pull the shampoo off the ledge. I love watching him splash and play and give me the little mischievous grin that lets me know he is about to do something he shouldn't. Who knows? Maybe he will be the next Michael Phelps!! LOL!!! OR maybe he will just enjoy swimming (and bathing) on a more recreational basis!!! Who knows, but that is the joy of being a parent..... we can't wait to find out.
