Standing ovation

Cael won't crawl, but he certainly likes to stand on his own two feet (with assistance)! We will put him up to the couch or a chair (Ryan is very good at this) and let him hold himself there for as long as he can.Ryan was home with Cael since he wasn't feeling well and had taken to placing him against the couch so Cael could hold himself upright. Well, Cael LOVED it. He was so happy and was laughing, swaying and babbling in his excitement at being able to stand. He would fall and then reach up to the couch to try and pull himself back up. He isn't quite able to do that yet so he would start crying and one of us would pick him up and it would start all over again!!He doesn't attempt to move at this point, but is content to stand there as long as his little legs will hold him or until his curiosity gets the best of him and he loses his balance.
