Sun, sports and stuff

Ed, Barb, Tim, Erica, Nolan and Makenzi were in town this past week for Nolan's baseball tournament (his team won the championship game on Saturday afternoon - congrats Frozen Ropes), which meant a lot of fun for the entire family and provided a great excuse for everyone to hang out. Nolan played baseball all week and then Ryan had three softball games on Friday and five games on Saturday; needless to say we all got our fill of bleachers, sand and sun!! Cael of course loved playing with his cousins, aunt, uncle and grandparents (mom and dad took a backseat this weekend) and had a blast climbing the bleachers, swimming in the hotel pool and running around with Nolan and Makenzi.

Cael found a puddle of rain water on one of the chairs at Ryan's game and had a blast splashing and sitting in it. He was soaked and didn't care!!! It was hilarious!

Everyone came over to the house Saturday night (including Makenzi's friend Jessica) and we had a great dinner followed by ice cream from Coldstone (thanks to Uncle Tim for the treat)! The gang crashed at the house and then they were up and at 'em early Sunday morning to make the 8 hour drive back to Omaha. It was great to have them here and we will miss them like crazy (luckily we will see them again this weekend)!
